Check Out Our NEXPO’19 Activities!
Come visit our newly redesigned Global Finals expo experience—NEXPO’19! In this area, students and families will have the opportunity to participate in seven exciting, hands-on exhibits. From building and racing a remote-control car in a DI-style Grand Prix to taking a simulated ride through space, you won’t want to miss out!
In this installation, teams will customize their own remote-controlled race car using provided supplies and then take it to the track for an epic race! Teams will complete this activity in three phases: Race Briefing, Car Customization and Racing. Each day, the course will change and will offer a fun, new twist, so be sure to stop by more than once!
Virtual Reality Games
Virtual Reality (VR) is fun for all ages and our friends at Immersive VR Technologies are one of the best in the game! In the first of their two exhibits, participants will explore space through a 4-D VR experience, including taking off from Earth, viewing the moon and Mars, and then warping into hyperspace to search the universe for intelligent life.
Can you imagine what playing a virtual game of dodgeball would be like? We can’t either! In their second exhibit, V-Royale, students and families will have the opportunity to play a virtual version of this classic game.
Get your team together and discover the joy of creating original works of art or cleverly designed contraptions with KEVA planks.
World Map Installation
Did you know that students in more than 30 countries participate in Destination Imagination? Teams will have the opportunity to color and customize a large-scale world map created just for this event.
