Students from 19 Countries Kick Off Global Finals

On Wednesday, May 23, student teams from 19 countries gathered in Knoxville, Tennessee to kick off Global Finals—an international competition that fuses creativity with STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics). From amusement park attractions to musicals to maze traveling devices, the top-scoring Destination Imagination (DI) teams are showcasing their innovative solutions to this season’s DI Challenges. These are some of the most creative problem solvers in the world and it’s taken a lot of hard work, creativity, risk-taking and perseverance to get to this level.
