Global Finals 2009 Site Now Live!

The countdown to Destination ImagiNation Global Finals 2009 has started on GlobalFinals.org!

Over 300,000 students in over 40 countries and all 50 US States will participate in challenges that build creativity, innovation and teamwork. Teams that excel in their affiliate will have the opportunity to advance to Global Finals.

New Challenge Summaries Posted

The Challenge summaries for the 2008-2009 school year have been announced and posted on the Challenge Page!

As usual, thousands of teams around the world will get there first look at these challenges on September 1 (for registered teams). Teams will be able to choose the one that suits their interests. They range from the arts and international studies to technology, mechanical and architectural design. And all focus on teamwork, innovation, creativity and FUN!

Dairy Nutrition & Fitness Challenge at Global Finals this year!

All teams attending Global Finals 2008 are eligible to enter the Nutrition & Fitness Challenges. Winning teams in this event will take away $1000 cash.

There will be three different Challenge Stations where your team can enter this competition. Teams must complete all three Challenges in order to fully enroll. The three Nutrition & Fitness Challenges will be running all day Thursday and Friday and half of the day on Saturday.

Practice Challenges are posted as well!

Day Trips at Global Finals Now Available!

Destination ImagiNation, Inc. and The University of Tennessee have partnered to offer a variety of educational field trips for students attending Global Finals.

Your off campus field trip choices include: The Townsend Mountain Experience, Ripley�s Aquarium (with lunch at location), Dollywood (with meal voucher for lunch) or the team building Mountain Challenge near downtown Knoxville.

Global Finals: Airport Transfers Now Available

Transfers from Knoxville�s McGhee Tyson Airport

Destination ImagiNation Inc., in cooperation with The University of Tennessee, will make airport transfers available to those purchasing Global Finals housing and meal packages.

Transfers from Knoxville�s McGhee Tyson Airport to registration and then to your housing locations are available on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Return transfers from your housing location are available on Sunday only. Service is available for all arriving and departing flights.
