The appraisers all looked up to this group of performers who engineered and mastered stilt-walking to portray giraffes in their natural habitat in Africa. Their outstanding performance wowed the appraisers with a show-stoppng Broadway song about the zoosemiotics doctor, a high-energy performance including 3 giraffes on stilts, a stampede and red-billed oxpecker who ate ticks off the featured creature. Truly an UP-lifting performance.

This performance was garbage. Positively pervasive puppets performed and were incorporated in multiple locations in the backdrop. The featured Possum lived under the porch and the rest of the menagerie came out to receive his message. And just for impact, the team built a garbage truck out of garbage. The overwhelming display of the team's skill in puppet and set construction, script integration and performance blew us away. This team did NOT stink.

The team mastered the ability to work multiple controls behind scenes while entertaining us with a highly orchestrated flow of live and scenic movement in front, delighting us with an experience above and beyond our expectations.

This team's revolving platform was reflective of professional theatrical design, simple but effective. Forming the backgrounds for multiple scenes, it was able to fold up for easy transport. And, it supported all five team members while still being able to turn without any distractions to the performance.

The engineering behind this simple set design was very impressive, wowing the Appraisers and audience alike.

This team's extraordinary coral reef included several technical components that operated an eel, two fish, and seaweed to create a realistic underwater effect. It was visually impacting, combining many species of coral, built to scale, and comprised of many different natural materials and textures.
